Peace Camp
One Korea Peace Camp is an international youth exchange program hosted by HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group), inviting young leaders from around the world to experience and reimagine peacebuilding through the model of YEPW (Youth Engagement & Peacebuilding Working Group).
In Korea, YEPW is not just a campaign— it's a youth-led peace movement focused on achieving reunification as the first step toward lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula. Korean youth are actively raising their voices and running reunification campaigns, believing that no peace is complete without resolving division.

The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is a 250-kilometer-long and 4-kilometer-wide buffer zone separating North and South Korea. Established in 1953 at the end of active fighting, it is one of the most heavily fortified borders in the world. Despite its tension-filled history, the DMZ has also become an unexpected haven for wildlife due to limited human presence.
The Korean War began in 1950 between South and North Korea. The conflict quickly expanded with international involvement, including United Nations forces. After 3 years of combat, the war ended in an armistice in 1953—meaning the two Koreas remain technically at war. The conflict left deep political, social, and economic divisions that continue to shape the peninsula.
Peaceful reunification is essential for stability, human rights, and long-term prosperity on the Korean Peninsula. It would end decades of division, allow separated families to reconnect, and reduce the military tension that threatens regional security. Above all, it offers a path toward lasting peace and a more hopeful future for all Koreans and the global village in a wider perspective.
The Global Peace Leaders' Conference brings together peace advocates, including influential past & present government officials, educators, religious leaders, and journalists, as well as youth from around the world, to discuss strategies for conflict resolution and global cooperation. It serves as a platform to share insights, build partnerships, and advance initiatives that promote lasting peace.
The International Youth Peace Conference empowers young people to take active roles in peacebuilding. Participants from various countries gather to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, and collaborate on youth-led initiatives that foster understanding, dialogue, and positive change in their communities.
The YEPW (Youth Engagement & Peacebuilding Working Group) Strategy Meeting focuses on planning and aligning key peace programs. Young leaders and representatives review progress, set future goals, and strengthen cooperation to ensure impactful and sustainable peace activities worldwide.
